Why we think we're better than every other dating site on the web.

  1. Our goal is to offer you the best possible experience we can, NOT to make money. This simple fact gives us a tremendous advantage over just about every other online dating site, because we can tailor our service in exactly the ways that we think will bring you the best possible experience with the most favorable results. Our biggest criticism of most other sites sites is that they seem to put their own pocketbooks ahead of their quality of service. For example, they might offer you free membership but then, after you've gone to the trouble of creating a profile, they tell you that you must upgrade to a paying membership to be able to contact anyone -- how misleading and deceitful is that?? Or they might entice you to subscribe to their service by showing you people you'd love to meet even if you don't meet the criteria of those people at all. Or they will tell you someone wants to contact you but won't tell you who he or she is until you pay your subscription fee. Or even if you've PAID your subscription fee and try to contact a non-subscriber, you will not get a response unless that person subscribes, and you may never know whether or not that person ever was a subscriber. Our service doesn't work that way. At all. We think such policies are despicable. We think that a site could have such policies only if it is putting it's own self-serving greed ahead of serving its clients. We don't do that. We are the BrightSpot of the online dating world, because our primary goal is to serve you as best as we can.
  2. We value your time. We will not make you sift through hundreds of profiles to find compatible matches. Rather, we will find your match for you! Furthermore, we will match you only with active members of our site who meet ALL of your criteria AND whose criteria you meet. In addition, you need not lose time (or emotional energy) crafting communications with matches who are not interested in you or in whom you are not interested, because the channel of communication is not opened (with some exception) until both parties express a desire to open it.
  3. We value your privacy. The only people who will ever see you on our site are your matches. They won't know you're here unless you know they're here. Also, when you express interest in communicating with a match, that match will not be informed of your interest unless they've indicated that same interest in you.

  5. We are completely FREE! We think that the best possible experience with this site means not charging for our services. That way, nobody has to feel bad about the concept of having to pay just to meet somebody. Also, by being free, we figure we'll draw a lot more users to our site, and the more users we have, the more (and better) matches we'll be able to find for everybody! Anyone who wants to meet someone special need not hesitate to register with us. We hope that this idea of using the web to serve society rather than make money gains more traction.
